SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our team in Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Honolulu, Hawaii. The customer based out of Honolulu, Hawaii creates, manages, and supports IT solutions for our customer, its mission and its 5,000+ customers throughout the Pacific theater. Our team solves challenging technical problems that enable our customers to realize critical and time sensitive C2 strategies.
As a Security Manager at SOS International LLC, you should be well organized, detailed-oriented and proficient in Department of Defense (DoD) protocols, procedures and regulations, especially those pertaining to physical security and compliance. Duties include the identification, coordination, review and validation of security actions as it applies to contract deliverables and organization personnel. The candidate should communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and be able to prepare and deliver executive-level briefings to interested parties as required.
- Oversees and manages all security processes involving organization personnel including timely handling of related documents, forms and requests, in/out processing (onboarding, resignations, terminations), and access requests to physical spaces and information systems (e.g., CACs, LOAs, SAARs, Badge Requests, Access Rosters).
- Regularly interacts with SOSi Corporate security and initiatives including SOSi security briefings and training.
- Provides oversight and guidance with regard to personnel security processes involving the U.S. Government (e.g., DoD, Intelligence Communities) and respective Coalition Partners.
- Develops and maintains pertinent security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including, but not limited to, access control, intrusion detection, disaster response/recovery, asset protection and loss prevention.
- Securely maintains personnel records, especially those related to access controls and auditing compliance.
- Leads/participates in security-related projects of varying complexity concerning personnel and locations throughout the Customer’s AOR.
- Assists with and contributes to priority projects and near-term efforts.
- An Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility and US Passport.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- Customer-service oriented. Superior time-management skills.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in security-topics. Able to instruct others in security procedures, requirements, protocols, and operations.
- Demonstrated previous experience with Defense Information Security System (DISS) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP).
- Experienced with processing security-related correspondence and forms (e.g., SF-85p, SF-86). Ensures proper handling of personal/confidential information.
- Able to deliver results despite difficult circumstances and changing priorities.
- Self-starter/quick learner. Able to work both independently and in a (distributed) team environment.
