We are seeking a results-driven Director, Sales Development to lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). This individual will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, shaping the business development strategy, and ensuring its successful execution. This role is a mix of strategy and execution where you will be responsible for providing regular reporting on key metrics and creating comprehensive sales playbooks and enablement materials to equip our sales team for success.
What you'll Do:
- Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of BDR Managers and BDRs, including recruiting, hiring, and training new members
- Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
- Create comprehensive sales playbooks that outline best practices, sales processes, and strategies for various sales scenarios
- Ensure that all sales-related documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with organizational goals
- Partner with the VP of Sales, CEO, marketing, and other business partners to develop and execute on a successful GTM strategy
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting on volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversation of sales accepted opportunities and playbook effectiveness
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to work out of Tapcheck's Plano office 3 days/week
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience preferably at a high-growth technology company
- 2+ years of managing sales managers
- High levels of self-motivation, ownership, and adaptability, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Direct experience managing a team of SDR's/BDR's
- Proven track record scaling of large BDR organizations
- Experienced in hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment
