Our Clubhouse Manager is the executive stake holder for our clubhouse operations. The manager is responsible for ownership of everything that happens on site, from member experience to hospitality and the facility itself. This person must possess front of house presentation skills and be excited about hospitality, community, and keeping beautiful spaces in ship-shape order. This is a management role that will require you to step into Club Host duties to "get things done" as needed. Here are the key areas of focus:
This position leads the club host team, ensuring that headcount and club host performance meet the GP standard. This team of direct reports are the front line to our members and executing our famous level of hospitality. Your relationship with training and motivating this team will be a major part of meeting your goals in this role.
This position is also responsible for maintaining all clubhouse operations: Events, Vendor management, facility maintenance, office resets, and inventory are a key responsibility of the role. A keen eye to keeping the space in ship-shape order, as well as getting ahead of any issues will ensure that our members do not experience any service disruptions. You will own the schedule and be responsible for executing happenings on time with your host team.
Finally, the Clubhouse Manager is responsible for leading our hospitality efforts. We're expanding our food and beverage, catering, and events offering, and we're looking for an experienced manager that is excited about the creative opportunity that this represents, while executing our existing hospitality offerings. This includes F&B sales, catering, and member experiences that surprise and delight.
The manager reports directly to the CEO and will have P&L responsibility of their key areas.
Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of clubhouse operations, ensuring seamless functionality, exceptional appearance, and the highest levels of member satisfaction. Manage staff scheduling, supply chain logistics, and facility maintenance
- Hospitality and Service Excellence: Uphold and enhance a culture of premium member service, drawing inspiration from the best of hotel and restaurant hospitality. Ensure that all member interactions are handled with a high degree of professionalism and personal attention
- Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and manage a team of club hosts, baristas, and operational staff. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are proficient in customer service, sales, and operational procedures
- Member Engagement: Execute our planned touchpoints and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and satisfaction. Regularly interact with members to gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure a thriving community
- Event Management: Coordinate and oversee events held at the clubhouse, from planning stages to execution. Ensure events are successful, reflect GP's brand standards, and enhance guest experience
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost control. Analyze operational efficiency and implement strategies to improve profitability. Align to hit growth metrics and critical KPIs
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations are compliant with local laws and regulations, particularly in relation to health and safety. Maintain a safe environment for both members and staff
Requirements
- 2+ years of hospitality management
- Can lift in excess of 50 lbs
- Can stand on feet for up to 75% of day
- Proven hospitality instincts
- Attention to detail for Cleanliness of Full Facility
- Proven team leader and trainer
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent time management and decision making skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Hubspot CRM, and similar software
- Experience in P&L management
