The Vice President of Applications and Compliance is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of enterprise IT applications and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in IT application management, compliance, and team leadership to drive innovation and efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of data security and regulatory adherence.
This position will report to our San Juan Capistrano office in a hybrid capacity.
1. Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT applications strategy aligned with the company's business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT applications and compliance team of 20+ members
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure IT initiatives support organizational goals
2. Application Development and Management:
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications, including Salesforce, Hubspot, A2Z, TMM, Momentus, Zuora, Hyperion, Epicor, Tableau, and custom platforms for workflow automation and data analytics and reporting
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of IT applications
- Manage the application lifecycle, including updates, enhancements, and decommissioning
3. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Develop and enforce IT compliance policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate IT-related risks
- Manage and direct the compliance and audit of Sarbanes Oxley IT controls
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster strong relationships with business units, understanding their needs and translating them into IT solutions
- Communicate IT strategies, initiatives, and performance metrics to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment across IT and business teams
5. Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the IT applications and compliance budget
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project execution
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application development, deployment, and management
- Proven experience in IT compliance, risk management, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI, SOX, ISO)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and drive change in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISA, CISSP) are a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $195,000-$225,000 (Bonus Eligible)
