Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Information Security Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
- Design and develop feature enhancements or expedite maintenance/fixes on the Data Pipeline framework
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering situations requiring understanding of software package options and programming language and compliance requirements that influence and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change
- Proactively collaborate and consult with internal product teams to resolve highly complex and risky data engineering challenges
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
- 5+ years of Hadoop, Spark Programming, Hive experience
- 7+ years of SQL Server, SQL server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
- 5+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
- 7 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
- 7+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
- BigData management practices, Microsoft SQL Server/SSIS development, pySpark, Scala Spark, Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Flow, Proc, Looker), Jenkins, DevOps, Ansible
Desired Skills:
- BS/BA degree or higher in information technology or engineering
- 7+ years of relational database experience
- 7+ years of source or version control tools experience
- 7 + years of experience in Agile methodology
- 7+ years of experience writing Microsoft SQL Server relational database queries, stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
- 5+ years of experience assessing information security compliance or generating metrics for the same
- 5+ years of database design experience
- 3+ years domain experience in information or computer security
- Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
- Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and experience in Cloud technologies - GCP
- Knowledge and understanding of information security principles, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of business requirements analysis and writing of technical specifications
