About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mid-Level Azure/O365 Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Microsoft O365 and Azure environments, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various services. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly in Microsoft Azure and Office 365, with hands-on experience in services such as Exchange, Intune, and Azure AD Connect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft O365 Management: Administer and support Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Azure (Empower): Manage and optimize Azure resources, ensuring efficient use of cloud services to support business operations.
- Exchange Administration: Maintain and troubleshoot Exchange Online environments, ensuring secure and reliable email communication for the organization.
- Intune Configuration: Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device management and mobile application management, ensuring security policies are enforced across all devices.
- Azure AD Connect (AB Connector & Cross Connect Sync): Implement and manage Azure AD Connect, ensuring seamless synchronization between on-premises and Azure Active Directory.
- Direct Connect: Set up and manage Direct Connect for secure, high-performance connections between on-premises networks and Azure.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role, with hands-on experience in Azure and Office 365 environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft O365 services, including Exchange Online, Intune, and SharePoint.
- Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
- Experience with Azure AD Connect, including AB Connector and Cross Connect Sync.
- Familiarity with Direct Connect for establishing secure connections between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are preferred.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices within cloud environments.
