The
Systems Administrator is part of theInformation Technology (IT) department and conducts routine, regimented testing and maintenance of servers and applications, quickly troubleshoots/resolves related server issues.
This position holds a depth of knowledge on and understands the schematics of TVHC application and server systems to a level that supports both short and long-term planning and coordination of server, phone system and network security. The position is responsible for monitoring system performance and making recommendations for future upgrades and possible redundancies as needed.
The System Administrator provides level two support for workstations, printers, servers, phone system and networking equipment, which may include software, hardware, or telecommunication systems. The position maintains and troubleshoots hardware/software issues and provides training/guidance for level one desktop support technician(s).
This is a temporary assignment to cover a leave of absence, and the duration may be up to six (6) months of employment.
This position is full-time, typically Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Compensation: $59,000 - $91,000 annualized, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day operation of our data center; support data center infrastructure, including both physical and virtual servers running Windows operating systems, firewalls, switches, and storage equipment
- Deploys, configures, administers, and troubleshoots servers, workstations, phones, and network equipment, VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Recycles and reuses devices by following established guidelines
- Administer and troubleshoots Microsoft Server/Data Center products as well as Global Policies and Active Directory issues
- Replaces servers, network devices and battery back-up units
- Facilitates IT tickets, EPIC EHR tickets and assist team members with IT projects
- Work with ISP and other third vendors
- Provide technical guidance and trainings for other IT team members, and participant in on-call support group
- Ensure all TVHC sites has good connectivity, report and resolve issues with ISP
- Assist with cable management and wall mount unit installation
- Respond to emergencies 24/7. Ability to perform required maintenance during nightly maintenance windows.
- Perform active directory maintenance and management
- Plan and execute software, system, and network upgrades in assigned areas
- Write scripts to automate routine tasks, parse system logs to generate reports
- Responsible for the inventory of Computers, software licenses and warranties.
- Work with vendors to resolve phone issues and/or upgrade equipment
- Work closely with other departments to ensure we deliver superior service and performance to our customers
- Attends meetings and trainings as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding privileged proprietary, administrative, technical and clinical information according to HIPAA and quality of care standards; ensure system security to meet data confidentiality requirements

Requirements
- Highschool diploma (or G.E.D required)
- Minimum two years of experience in an IT support/helpdesk role required
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete work without direct supervision.
- Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to travel to designated locations as required by supervisor.
