Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x7x365 global support delivery team.
Combine technical expertise and customer requirements to solve complex business challenges.
Provisioning & Managing Operating Systems, Azure IaaS & PaaS Services.
Ability to quickly identify customer issues and being able to conduct in-depth diagnostics on Linux platforms and services.
Work with Architects to deliver solutions and deploy new capabilities in a customer environment.
Analyse and eliminate top issues impacting customer experience.
Build automation to solve customer problems and develop scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities.
Create documentation (SOPs & TSGs) to help L1/L2 teams to support operations.
Work on critical, highly complex customer scenarios that span across multiple Linux flavors.
Act as a technical escalation point within the team.
Work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in a technical position and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Linux Azure Cloud Engineer.
Expertise in OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, SUSE, CentOS & Ubuntu).
Strong experience in cluster services (SUSE SAP & RHEL).
Hands-on experience on Containers - Docker, Kubernetes & Red Hat Openshift is an advantage.
Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef & OpenStack is preferable.
Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, NGINX, NFS, DNS, LDAP & SAMBA.
Experience in PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, YAML or JSON scripting preferred.
Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.
