As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensure the smooth running of the food preparation process. Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation is in line with our high standards
- Create and implement innovative and seasonal menu ideas
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth communication and coordination
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary
Benefits
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
