Position: Information Technology Director
Department: Technology
Purpose: Administers all aspects of the institutions computer network environment.
Scope: Under executive management supervision, incumbent is responsible for full range of system administration functions with minimal direction/and or technical support.
Reports to: CEO
Supervises: 2-3
Machine Skills: Fax, Copy Machine, 10 Key, Scanner, P.C.
Job Specifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred. 3 years experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and network equipment. Microsoft certification preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree.
Physical Requirements: Must be able capable of lifting 25 pounds. Job requires frequent viewing of computer screen, continual eye coordination and hand/wrist movement and finger manipulation. Must be able to sit for long periods of time as well as stoop, bend, and reach overhead.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Performs a full range of system administration functions in order to control systems and attain maximum utilization and efficiency
· Provide and run backup procedures that maintain the integrity and security of the credit unions technology infrastructure
· Maintains complete and accurate documentation and support services/warranties for new equipment, software, hardware, and peripherals
· Participates in the planning, implementation, and management of technology based projects
· Participates in the development and implementation of the institutions Information Security Policy and Information Security Program
· Coordinates technology needs with outsourced vendors for efficiency and cost effectiveness
· Researches, recommends, installs and configures hardware, software, and networks for PC’s/servers with multi-user operating and/or networking systems in order to establish and maintain institution’s information systems
· Performs fault isolation and repairs in a complex computing/network environment independently or in consultation with vendor(s) and /or other technical personnel or consultants in order to diagnose and correct problems
· Performs preventative maintenance and upgrades for all software/hardware
· Manages Voice over IP Network between branches
· Manages Audio Response Unit
· Assists management with IT audits and examinations
· Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, management, department head staff and various agency personnel
· Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
