Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced risk management professional to serve as our Senior Vice President, Risk Management. In this critical role, you will lead the development and implementation of our risk management strategy, ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks that could impact our organization's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive risk management strategies and programs
- Lead and manage risk management teams, including risk assessment, compliance, and audit
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks, developing mitigation plans and strategies
- Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to integrate risk management into decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Provide risk management expertise and guidance to business units and senior leadership
- Develop and manage risk management budgets and resources
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CRMP, ARM) highly desirable
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
- Expertise in risk assessment, mitigation, and management techniques
- Experience with regulatory requirements and industry standards
