- We are looking for a Cloud Architect to design and operate the AWS cloud for a new program that delivers applications across multiple classification levels in the environment.
Responsibilities
- Design cloud-based network, identity, and security services to provide end user services such as email, web browsing, and virtual desktops
- Integrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across the enterprise
- Identifying the key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms impacting the organization's ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance targets
- Evaluating total cost of ownership and return on investment of various IT platform/infrastructure alternatives
- Design, test and implement security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks
- Support the security team to test and authorize the system for an enterprise Authority to Operate (ATO)
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required
- AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, or equivalent
- Security+, or equivalent
- bachelor’s degree and 8 years' minimum work experience or equivalent experience.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
