Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership, project leads and technical leads to assess resourcing needs, optimize utilization and drive strategic workforce planning
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and project delivery for all engagements based on timing, technical and industry skills, capacity, client requirements and prioritization, and utilization
- Analyze trends and forecast future staffing needs to meet client project requirements
- Recommend adjustments and realignments to resourcing plan as needed
- Monitor project timelines, workloads, availability, productivity and resource utilization to identify potential resource conflicts or capacity constraints based on priorities and deadlines
- Implement new scheduling processes and systems and drive adoption
- Maintain an accurate inventory of team members’ skills and expertise to facilitate resource allocation
- Develop solid understanding of the business, our clients and industries
- Embrace an Agile mindset to adapt to changing priorities, client demands, and project requirements effectively
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement best practices related to resource management, project delivery, and client satisfaction
- Demonstrate the ability to negotiate timelines, priorities, and staffing assignments to achieve optimal outcomes for both clients and the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in resource management, data management, and workforce planning or forecasting, preferably within a professional services firm or accounting environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, scheduling, utilization, trends, and workforce metrics
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with pivot tables, v-lookup and complex formulas
- Proficiency in Power BI, resource management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities well
- Project management experience with attention to details
