Our client is a growing software company who's product in in high demand, thus experiencing unprecedented growth.
It requires 3 days a week on-site in the office in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Linux Platform Engineer-The applications run on the SUSE and Red Hat Linux distributions. Will be responsible for handling all operating system level issues and open source packages, such as:
- Producing install and upgrade scripts
- Producing the Software Bill of Material (SBOM)
- Evaluating Common Vulnerability Exposures (CVEs)
- Analyze results of the Software Composition Analysis output to identify security risks
- Apply security patches to open source packages
- Work with our Support installation to customer install and upgrade issues
- Create automated processes for producing AWS AMI and Azure VHDx images
- Implement run malware detection software against our application
- Take part in portability efforts as application adapts to new platforms, new OS versions, or new versions of common APIs.
