The System Administrator will implement, monitor, and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions to ensure maximum performance, availability, and security of the Windows Server Infrastructure. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that meet business objectives and contribute to the success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Advanced management and oversight of Azure infrastructure, focusing on virtual machines, network configurations, storage solutions, databases, and disaster recovery planning.
- Administration of Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange and SharePoint.
- Management of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, IIS, SQL Server, and OS upgrades.
- Design, implement, and integrate enterprise applications with cloud services to ensure seamless delivery of data to all users.
- Project management for the deployment and integration of new technology solutions.
- Development and implementation of automation processes for system management and enterprise-scale deployments.
- Collaboration with internal IT teams and external stakeholders for strategic IT planning and initiative execution.
- Liaison with business partners and vendors to deploy, monitor, manage, and maintain cloud environments and services, including backups and disaster recovery services.
- Comprehensive security assessment and improvement for both Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Efficient troubleshooting and resolution of server, application, cloud, and Windows Server-related issues.
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and processes.
- Participation in cyber hygiene practices, including system and application log reviews.
- Advanced tier 3 support for escalated system and application issues.
- Serving as a mentor and source of knowledge to other employees.

- Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and solutions stacks, including virtual machines, storage accounts, Azure AD, Enterprise Apps, App Registrations, SSO, and Conditional Access Policies.
- Experience with data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., PCI, GDPR).
- Ability to work with people across the company to ensure system integrity is maintained.
- Experience following a defined Change Management process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of related experience
- Strong experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server operating systems
- Demonstrated experience in system implementation, maintenance, and support
- 10% or less of travel is expected for this position.
