Role Description
This is a contract role for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer at our Client. As a Mobile QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting testing activities on mobile applications and implementing automation scripts. You will work closely with the development team to ensure the quality and performance of mobile applications. This is a remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in mobile application testing and automation
- Strong experience using Postman and API Testing tools.
- Must have extensive Knowledge of API Testing
- Strong knowledge of Mobile testing, such cross browser, Mobile Web and Device Testing
- Knowledge of AWS
- Knowledge of NoSQL Databses such as Postgres, MongoDB
- Test Automation Experience using Cypress/Webdriver.io
- Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Appium or Selenium
- Experience writing Cucumber/Gherkin Tests
- Experience with Zephyr
- Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript /Node for test scripting
- Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Mobile app: React Native
· Web frontend: Next.js
· Headless CMS: Contentful
· Backend: AWS serverless, microservices
· Databases: MongoDB, Postgres
· Test automation: WebDriver.io, evaluating Cypress
· API testing: Postman, considering Insomnia
· Test management: Zephyr, Cucumber/Gherkin
In addition, experience with Agile methodologies and mobile security testing would be beneficial.
