About the Role
As the Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in seamlessly integrating new clients into our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service. You will lead the onboarding process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth transition and timely activation of our security solutions. You will wear many hats, acting as a project manager, client advocate, and technical liaison while adhering to the highest security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for onboarding new MDR clients, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Security Operations, Sales, Engineering) to gather client requirements, define project scope, and establish clear deliverables.
- Lead the log onboarding and sensor deployment process, working closely with clients to ensure smooth installation and configuration.
- Manage and track project milestones, risks, and issues, proactively communicating updates and proposing solutions to stakeholders.
- Provide project management and support for client penetration testing and advisory consulting projects.
- Provide project management and support for internal software development and engineering projects.
- Document onboarding processes and procedures, continuously seeking improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate throughout the onboarding and project delivery journey.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the cybersecurity industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage expectations and build rapport with diverse stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
- Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management tools.
Bonus points for:
- Understanding of MDR or other managed services.
- Experience with security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
