VTG is a global technology company specializing in Hybrid Solutions that combine datacenter and public cloud technologies. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales efforts, with a primary focus on building and managing a high-performing sales team. The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling our Infrastructure auditing product (ZENfra), managed services, and data-driven consulting solutions centered around hybrid cloud and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with VTG's business goals and objectives.
- Build, lead, and mentor a results-driven sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer-centricity within the sales organization.
Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth by expanding ZENfra product sales, managed services, and consulting solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
Product Expertise:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of VTG's Infrastructure auditing product, ZENfra, as well as our managed services and consulting solutions.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings to clients and prospects.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine sales strategies, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market plans.
- Establish sales targets, budgets, and forecasts, and monitor performance against these metrics.
Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the hybrid cloud and cybersecurity space.
- Use market insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage directly with key clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales process.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee sales operations, including CRM utilization, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
- Implement best practices in sales processes, sales automation, and sales enablement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a track record of driving revenue growth in the technology or IT services sector.
- Extensive experience selling infrastructure auditing products, managed services, and consulting solutions, with a deep understanding of hybrid cloud and cybersecurity.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate a high-performance sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies and plans.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Knowledge of sales automation tools and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience working with Channel, Resellers, and SI is critical.
