The Systems Administrator to support a customer’s IT environment. The responsibilities include system installations, configuration, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, and documentation of procedures in support of the IT environment. The Systems Administrator will also support the development team to ensure successful application deployments in support of the various projects. The Systems Administrator will work in a team environment, communicating and coordinating work among several other developers and systems engineer team members,
- Excellent problem solving and software configuration troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written communication skills including maintenance of system administration documentation using Microsoft Office to update configuration documentation and SOPs.
- Ability to manage multiple work tasks with periodic guidance/supervision
- Ability to complete project work according to schedule
- Experience with Windows server, Active Directory, and LDAP
- Experience with Cloud technologies
- Experience with Machine Virtualization solutions (load balancing and clustering)
- Experience with large scale back-up and restoration software
- Experience with TCP, switches, routing tables, and subnets
- Experience with Oracle
