Job Description
Da Vinci is seeking a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing infrastructure and deployment processes, including designing, scaling, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. This role is integral to our success and is a great opportunity for the right individual to play a significant part in our company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage the CI/CD infrastructure to enhance the development and deployment process.
- Work with AWS CLI, ECS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS Aurora (Postgres), Elasticache (Redis) to manage services and databases.
- Use Terraform, and GitHub Actions to automate and manage systems.
- Leverage your knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Golang to develop efficient software and deployment systems.
- Implement and manage system monitoring using DataDog, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement cybersecurity hardening measures across all areas (AWS cloud and on-premise) to ensure the safety and integrity of our systems.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and drive resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and help the team adapt and implement new best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience with Linux, MS Windows, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
- Solid experience in managing AWS services like EC2, ECS, Fargate, RDS Aurora (Postgres), Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Elasticache (Redis), Route 53.
- Proficiency in programming languages, especially Java, Python, JavaScript, and Golang.
- Hands-on experience with DataDog for system monitoring.
- Hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, BitBucket Pipelines, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience in implementing them.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
