GCyber is hiring a Network Administrator to perform network monitoring, administration, operations, and maintenance of the enterprise network and communications infrastructure.
As theNetwork Administrator,you will:
- Perform network monitoring administration and configuration.
- Configure and tune network tools to increase our ability to effectively correlate performance data
- Proactively detect and respond to network infrastructure events, incidents, degradations, or outages.
- You will be responsible for standard administration and maintenance activities which may include configuring routers, switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators with appropriate network and communications protocols.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency by creating scripts to automate routine tasks, recommending configuration changes to improve data correlation, or providing recommendations to improve network performance.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- IAT II certification (Security+, CND, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
- One of the following Networking Certifications – Brocade, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP), Aruba
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or work experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in Network Administration
- Must have hands-on experience/knowledge with Aruba networking systems
- Aruba Certification (ACSA and/or ACSP) desired
This position is 100% on site at our customer location in Arlington, VA.
