Senior Vice President, Data & Analytics Overview
A high-growth, nationwide healthcare technology organization is seeking a Senior Vice President of Data Product Engineering to lead the strategy and execution of data platforms, infrastructure, and analytics products. This is a pivotal role for a transformational leader who can scale systems and teams across a complex, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities - Senior Vice President, Data & Analytics
• Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the enterprise-wide data engineering vision, aligned with business and clinical priorities.
• Team Growth & Management: Lead and scale a cross-functional data team, fostering innovation, performance, and accountability.
• Data Infrastructure: Oversee the build and optimization of large-scale cloud-based data environments, pipelines, and governance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, IT, analytics, and operations leaders to deliver robust, scalable data products.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.) while protecting sensitive data at scale.
• Innovation: Introduce emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to maintain a cutting-edge data environment.
Qualifications- Senior Vice President, Data & Analytics
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in data engineering or architecture.
• 5+ years of senior-level experience managing technical teams and platform development.
• Deep expertise in modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, dbt, Airflow).
• Experience delivering data products in regulated industries; healthcare preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, security frameworks, and compliance practices.
• Proven ability to influence executives and align data strategy with organizational goals.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $300,000 – $400,000 annually
• Bonus Potential: Up to 30% of base salary
• Long-Term Incentives: Equity or performance shares available
• Additional Benefits: 401(k) with match, generous PTO, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, and remote work flexibility
• Note: Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
