RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking an experienced Citrix Administrator to support and manage enterprise-level Citrix environments for a large regional healthcare organization in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in highly regulated environments, preferably within the healthcare industry, and will be responsible for the ongoing administration, configuration, optimization, and support of Citrix infrastructure and related endpoint solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain a large-scale Citrix environment (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops)
- Manage provisioning, updates, and patching of Citrix servers, including Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, and Citrix Gateway (formerly NetScaler)
- Support application virtualization and desktop delivery across multiple business units
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to Citrix sessions, profile management, and application performance
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure alignment and compliance with enterprise IT standards
- Maintain endpoint configuration and optimization for thin clients, VDI desktops, and published applications
- Perform routine health checks and system performance monitoring; implement necessary tuning
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and business continuity planning
- Ensure all work adheres to healthcare IT compliance standards, including HIPAA and internal security policies
- Respond to incident tickets and support escalations in a timely and efficient manner
- Contribute to change management processes and participate in on-call rotations as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Citrix administration in an enterprise setting
- Hands-on expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, and Citrix Gateway
- Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and/or Machine Creation Services (MCS)
- Proficiency with Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Ivanti, WEM)
- Strong scripting experience (PowerShell preferred) for automation and reporting
- Experience in healthcare IT environments is highly preferred
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or NIST is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Certifications:
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or Professional (CCP-V)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation or other relevant certifications a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
