Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an IT Compliance Testing Analyst to join their team. As an IT Compliance Testing Analyst, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: IT Compliance Testing Analyst
Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote)
Pay Range: $42-$48 per hour
What's the Job?
- Maintain the existing IT General Controls (ITGC) testing program to protect information and technology assets.
- Collaborate with IT staff to gather evidence required for IT Audits, ensuring alignment of actual results with expected outcomes.
- Monitor IT systems for security violations and suspicious network activity, utilizing various security software tools.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the information technology systems environment.
- Investigate information security incidents and provide documentation for root cause analysis and remediation of security events.
What's Needed?
- Above-average analytical skills and understanding of IT General Controls and the IT audit process.
- Experience within the COBIT IT governance framework is a plus.
- Proficiency in using security monitoring tools and conducting network scans.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and communicate findings effectively to upper-level staff.
- Experience in conducting security system assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
