What You'll Do
The Network Administrator will contribute to the overall success of Beaver Run through monitoring, administering and managing of the Beaver Run voice and data networks to ensure a stable and secure IT environment. You will partner with other IT personnel, business leaders and stakeholders to meet the operational and changing technology needs of Beaver Run with an eye on providing a world-class user experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technology end users. A strong candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a project team. Prioritization and managing multiple issues simultaneously are critical to success. This role is part of an on-call rotation. This position is located on-premises in Breckenridge, CO. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Transitional housing may be available.
Position starts at $85,000 - $100,000 annual salary DOE
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, securing, troubleshooting and upgrading of the Beaver Run network equipment, physical wiring, Cloud infrastructure and Cyber Security tools.
- Utilize a broad range of hardware including Ubiquiti and Cisco routers, HP and Aruba network switches, Sonicwall Firewalls, Zyxel WiFi equipment, Verkada Security camera systems, PBX and telecom equipment and point of sales systems.
- Administer layer 2 & 3 switching environments, Firewalls, DNS, AD, DHCP, Azure, Office 365 and Azure, Microsoft server OS.
- Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of the internal network, servers and systems to improve security, functionality and efficiency.
- Responsible for designing and implementing improvements to the existing network and server environments.
- Maintain security of all network and server hardware and software configurations.
- Document all network and server installations, maintenance logs and troubleshooting.
- Backup of all critical infrastructure configurations.
- Monitor the on premise and cloud-based network for potential security threats and enforce security best practices.
- Participate in maintaining key performance indicators for IT network services.
- Perform network and system upgrades including services packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Help with support of the on-premises and cloud PBX solutions.
