Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking a
Systems Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
Key Duties
- Support the operation and maintenance of multiple Exchange environments and cloud-based Department of Defense environments for the MDA.
- Perform daily operation and maintenance tasks while assisting with planning for future collaboration service needs.
- Troubleshoot issues with Exchange, Teams, Office 365, and related collaboration tools using in-depth technical knowledge.
- Interface with customers and peers across service areas to resolve issues and fulfill mission requirements.
- Support Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, And Education
Required Skills, Experience, and Education :
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- 6 or more years of directly related experience.
- Ability to support occasional weekend work to support system patching.
- Strong experience configuring, operating, and maintaining Microsoft services.
- Experience with scripting, such as PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of Windows, Exchange, Lync, TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory.
- Possesses a qualifying DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
- High School diploma or equivalent and 10 or more years of experience, Associate degree and 8 or more years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of experience, or Master's degree.
