About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Network Administrator to join our IT team and take ownership of network operations across multiple locations. This hands-on role is critical in maintaining the performance, security, and scalability of our network infrastructure to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Configure, monitor, and maintain company networks, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Evaluate current network architecture and proactively implement upgrades and improvements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments; identify root causes of issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Manage and maintain network-related scripts, startup files, and load balancing configurations.
- Set up and manage user accounts, network permissions, and email systems.
- Respond to and resolve network and user-related issues; document solutions and update system procedures.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all network-related technologies and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
- Design and implement secure, high-availability solutions for internal and customer-facing applications.
- Contribute to strategic IT initiatives focused on scalability, performance optimization, and cybersecurity.
- Maintain awareness of new technology developments to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Network Administrator.
- Proficiency in VMWare and Active Directory.
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware and software configuration.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively while on call (as needed, limited).
Preferred Experience- Familiarity with Plex ERP.
- Knowledge of accounting, HR, database, and design software environments.
