Position Summary
The Verifier I is responsible for processing various types of employment, education, professional license, and reference verification products related to employment screening in a prompt, accurate, and timely manner to our clients. This position works within the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRA) regulations to provide results requested by TEAM Companies clients. Successful contribution includes but is not limited to working within Federal, State, Client, and TEAM Companies’ guidelines to provide accurate results. This individual possesses excellent time management skills, detail-orientation, focus, resourcefulness, analytical skills, and reliability.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct educational, employment, and references of applicants utilizing contact methods outlined in our Verification manual.
- Handles Gap Reviews in a timely manner, ensuring that SLAs are met.
- Maintains Verification Contact Manager as new companies are being verified.
- Identifies and escalates data requiring further investigation and research
- Manage inbound and outbound transactions, providing phone and email-based support
- Anticipate customer needs and deliver solutions for proactive customer service
- Provide professional verbal and written communication and service to customers, government agencies, and vendors
- Monitor pending work levels to ensure timely completion of Client background reports
Required Qualifications And Skills - Experience: High School diploma
- Computer Skills:
- High level of business-related computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe/Acrobat/PDFs)
- Data entry skills at 6000 wpm or better and 95% accuracy or better to be assessed during the screening process using an online skills assessment tool.
- Other: Broad understanding of strategic planning and production outcome.

- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with government, organization and department policies
- Demonstrate reliability supporting TEAM attendance standards as attendance and punctuality are key to the success for all
- This job operates primarily in a clerical office setting in Tulsa. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. You must be able to sit for long periods of time.
