Role Description
This is a hybrid role combining traditional system administration with help desk support, ideal for a motivated, intuitive, and tech-savvy individual who thrives in dynamic, people-centered environments. You’ll be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting internal team members, onboarding new personnel, and managing day-to-day IT operations across servers, networks, and end-user devices. This position is ideal for someone intuitive, proactive, friendly, and naturally curious—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable working beyond core responsibilities to ensure seamless IT operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Help Desk Support
- Provide end-user support including password resets, account unlocks, and hardware installation
- Replace workstation peripherals and troubleshoot basic hardware issues
Application Support
- Serve as a resource for staff navigating business-critical software
- Troubleshoot and provide user support for applications
Workstation Management
- Configure and deploy new workstations
- Maintain inventory and lifecycle of workstation hardware
- Ensure systems remain updated and secure
Network Management
- Maintain an accurate inventory of connected devices
- Ensure network equipment is updated with necessary firmware and security patches
Server Management
- Manage and document all server hardware and software
- Maintain and update physical and virtual servers
Backup Management
- Monitor, maintain, and regularly test data backups to ensure continuity
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft M365 Fundamentals
Experience (Required):
- 3–5 years in a systems administration or IT support role
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy
- Virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)
- Network administration and troubleshooting

SALARY RANGE
$60,000 – $75,000/year based on experience and qualifications
