Position Overview:
East 57th Street Partners is seeking a forward-thinking and results-oriented Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on behalf of our private equity-backed client. This strategic leadership role is critical for driving the technology vision and strategy of a high-growth healthcare company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, scaling technology operations, and fostering innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with its overall business objectives, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
- Team Development & Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Systems Architecture & Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT systems and architecture to support the company’s growth and operational needs.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and delivery of innovative healthcare technologies, ensuring patient-centric solutions and compliance with industry regulations.
- Data & Analytics: Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to drive strategic decision-making, enhance patient outcomes, and improve operational efficiency.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards, mitigating risks associated with digital operations in the healthcare sector.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget effectively, optimizing costs while ensuring the delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key advisor to the executive leadership team and board of directors on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA or Master’s in a technical discipline) are a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CTO or similar C-suite position in a high-growth, private equity-backed environment.
- Proven success in scaling technology operations, implementing enterprise-wide systems, and managing digital transformation initiatives in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare technologies, including EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA).
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud technologies, data analytics, and cybersecurity in healthcare.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead diverse teams, manage stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
- Strategic Vision: A strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology capabilities into business value.
Compensation:
