Robert Half Technology is looking for a IT General Controls Analyst for a well established national financial services company. This position is full time, fully remote, with full benefits and will generally work on West Coast hours. The ITGC Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all IT functions are performed in a compliant manner to reduce business risk, meeting all organizational standards, regulations, and procedures related to IT Controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly assess the efficiency of IT policies, standards, and processes, and recommend IT General Controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate and implement IT governance policies and practices.
- Collaborate with Audit and Project teams to ensure that the IT department complies with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and resolving IT Control issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, ITGC, or related area.
- In-depth understanding of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, SSAE, SOX, etc.
- Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, Security, GRC, and IT Audit.
- Proficiency in recommending IT General Controls and solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to manipulate Data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant professional certifications.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
- Prior experience in a regulated industry such as finance, healthcare, or insurance is helpful.
