NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
HIRING RATE: Commensurate with experience

Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and improving County network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security, designing, developing, installing, upgrading, integrating, administering, and maintaining County's network services and ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.
Job Requirements
- College degree in computer science, management information systems or closely related field or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification or Cisco Certified Systems Associate (CCNA) required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, including hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network, analytics tools, and network infrastructure management; possession of and ability to maintain Cisco, CCNP, or CCIE certification preferred
- Practical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards with the ability to maintain and install various information technology hardware and software
- Thorough knowledge of current server and cloud systems, hardware, programming, and standards with ability to perform maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and perform backups
- Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen
