STONE Resource Group is representing a leading enterprise client seeking a Network Administrator for a hybrid position based in Reston, VA, with occasional support required at a data center in Ashburn, VA. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for a systems/network professional ready to take ownership of maintaining and optimizing a robust IT infrastructure.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise-wide systems including servers, operating systems, network hardware, and other infrastructure.
- Ensure secure and reliable system access, backups, and system recovery procedures.
- Support a variety of technologies including hardware, software, system security, and network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or recommend appropriate solutions.
- Create, manage, and maintain detailed system documentation (configurations, backup procedures, etc.).
- Develop and deploy patches, updates, and software upgrades as needed.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and support of new hardware, software, and system enhancements.
✅ Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in a Systems or Network Administrator role.
- Solid working knowledge of:
- Operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Networking hardware and software
- System backups, patches, and security protocols
- Strong troubleshooting skills across both system and network environments.
- Ability to document configurations and system changes clearly and effectively.
- Willingness and ability to support an on-call schedule and respond to the Ashburn data center as needed.
