A top company is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their team at their lower Manhattan offices. This role requires onsite presence 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain existing device management frameworks, integration, and identity management solutions.
- Review and apply security best practices & perform proactive performance monitoring and tuning.
- Create systems integrations and automations.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of Linux/Unix Systems (i.e., Apple Mac OS/iOS).
- Provide systems support to DevOps and application engineers.
- Act as tier three support for HelpDesk.
- Support Gmail configuration and mailbox management, including email routing, spam filtering, and forensics.
- Support users with JAMF, Mac OS, Chrome OS, Google Admin, Okta, Zoom phone, videoconferencing, and other SaaS enterprise cloud-based services.
- Work with operating endpoint management tools, including Apple DEP, JAMF Pro/Cloud, and Windows Server.
- Use IT Service Management software to manage projects and tasks.
- Serve as a point of escalation for systems troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Support business continuity plans and site readiness.
- Perform testing of data retention and recovery policies.
EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or 7+ years of experience in IT.
- 5+ years of experience providing technical support in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of User Management & Authentication (Okta), 2FA, MacOS Operating Systems, Cloud Enterprise Collaboration Tools (Google Admin and Office 365).
- Experience supporting Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform).
- Hands-on experience with Device Management Platforms (JAMF, Google Admin), Zoom phone, and conferencing.
- Networking experience is a plus.
