We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Cibolo, Texas area for a Network Administrator role. This position operates within the IT industry, where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including network maintenance, project management, and policy development.
Responsibilities:
Offer technical support by troubleshooting network-related issues and allocating network resources for new projects while ensuring technical documentation is current.
Oversee IT projects through stages from requirement accumulation to project planning and execution, while managing scheduling and budgeting to optimize resources.
Monitor network performance to maintain efficiency, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Develop, uphold, and enforce IT and security policies and procedures to standardize operations and guarantee security and compliance.
Act as an intermediary between the Corporate IT department and other group companies, ensuring effective communication and alignment of projects.
Regularly report to management on the status of projects, incidents, and other relevant metrics to keep stakeholders informed.
Strive for continuous improvement in IT processes and system utilization by standardizing duties.
Offer detail oriented and empathetic problem resolutions to end users.
Make informed decisions in planning and execution to provide solutions in line with industry principles and practices.
Maintain proficiency in Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, Firewall Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, VLAN, CCNA Technologies, and Cisco CCNA.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Network Administrator, managing and maintaining network infrastructure.
Expertise in Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies, ensuring seamless connectivity and network efficiency.
Strong knowledge of Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies, leveraging these platforms to optimize network performance.
Proficiency in Firewall Technologies, ensuring robust network security and data protection.
Proficiency in Active Directory, managing user accesses and privileges.
Experience in Backup Technologies, ensuring data safety and recovery during system failures.
Familiarity with Computer Hardware, capable of troubleshooting and resolving hardware related issues.
Expertise in Configuration Management, ensuring network systems are configured according to company standards.
Experience in Deployments, efficiently rolling out new systems and updates.
Knowledge of VLAN, effectively segmenting networks for improved performance and security.
Understanding of CCNA Technologies, leveraging this knowledge to maintain and improve network systems.
Cisco CCNA certification is required, demonstrating a standard level of competence in network administration.
