THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND
The Imaging Systems Administrator performs all related activities for the implementation, integration maintenance, and support of all Spectrum Vision Partner platform operated Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and related technologies. Assists in various other functions of the IT department as needed. You’ll have the opportunity to provide expertise in the planning, development and implementation of our image management systems, while troubleshooting for our teams and training them to be super-users.
OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU
- Administer clinical applications of imaging, reporting, integration and other ancillary applications; including user accounts, application configurations, updates and implementation, protocols, and patient information
- Develop processes to maintain data integrity of images and information security
- Organizes meetings with appropriate vendor and in house resources to collaborate and determine tasks at hand for projects and problem solving. Communicates to system users and other affiliated users planned and unscheduled downtime
- Develops and updates documentation for administration and use of the PACS
- Responsible for ordering, configuring and maintaining servers as it relates to PACS
- Act as and develop others to be Super Users in utilizing the PACS. Assisting with projects as they relate to PACS integration and management. Assist in providing education to new hires on the appropriate systems. Monitoring and managing interfaces between all systems
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of training/competency on the imaging system and image system tools and applications
- Responsible for data migration to mewer or upgraded clinical devices
- Travel to clinics up to 50% of the time
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- You have a strong understanding of how data moves from the device to the system
- You have experience with HL7 and DICOM
- Should be comfortable troubleshooting problems related to network, desktop operating systems, desktop applications, PC hardware, telephones, network attached peripherals, and computerized diagnostic equipment
- You’re always learning, researching, and evaluating new software/technologies
- You’re excited about providing support for clinical devices, including but not limited to network integration, software upgrades, data backup, remote and onsite support
- You have experience with server and network infrastructure duties and responsibilities
- You have experience configuring mobile devices for Wifi and Email for staff and physicianSupport and s
- You have experience supporting the maintenance of Video remote interpretation services (stratus)
- You’re an analytical problem solver
- You’re a team player with a desire to provide the highest level of service to your clients
- You’re an expert in the following: Microsoft Office 2003 to 2010, Windows 2000/XP to 10 ,Windows Server 2003 to 2012, LAN, VPN, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint, Acronis, App Assure, Firewall and Websense
- You have at least one of the following: CCNP, MCSE, CCA, CCNA, A+ Certified
