Position Impact
As CTO, you will drive IoTwin's technological vision during a pivotal growth stage, taking ownership of our digital twin platform architecture and development roadmap. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to deliver transformative solutions to clients while positioning IoTwin as a pioneer in innovative digital twin technology and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Technology Leadership
o Develop and execute a technology roadmap that aligns with IoTwin's business plan and SaaS model, ensuring high-quality architecture, scalability, and reliability.
Lead technology investment decisions with clear ROI frameworks that align with business objectives and partnerships.
Collaborate with the executive team and stakeholders to discuss technical strategies and product visions in technical and lay terms.
Present compelling technology visions and roadmaps to investors, partners, and stakeholders clearly and confidently.
Product Development & Real-Time 3D Platforms
o Implement best security practices for data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Drive the evolution of IoTwin's digital twin platform from concept to market-ready solutions, that demonstrate commercial value to investors and clients.
o Design and oversee the integration of real-time data streams, AI/ML capabilities, and visualization technologies that can handle analytics at scale.
Leverage NVIDIA Omniverse and similar platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) to enrich IoTwin’s product offerings with cutting-edge visualization and advanced simulation capabilities.
Team Building and Leadership
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing technical teams, May include internal/external developers, partners, and interns.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement through Agile and DevOps practices (e.g., automating tasks, implementing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) to streamline software development and deployment).
Provide technical training for the technical team and stakeholders on core and new technologies.
Qualifications
10+ years in progressive senior technology roles, ideally with experience in larger corporations demonstrating commercial success or significant exits.
Demonstrated history of developing and scaling SaaS products and development teams.
Technical Proficiency
Extensive experience with SaaS architectures, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), AI, IoT infrastructure, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance requirements.
Experience in Python, HTML, JavaScript, and other relevant languages and frameworks.

Familiarity with BMS (building management systems), access control, telephony, audio/video systems, facility management, inventory, helpdesk, and emergency response planning software and systems.
Experience handling real-time data and ownership (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA, ISO standards) and regulatory compliance.
People Skills
Adaptable and comfortable working in a startup environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigating the uncertainties and evolving requirements.
Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and lead diverse technical teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of investor, board of director, or stakeholder engagement, presenting complex technical strategies and product visions effectively to both technically savvy and non-technical audiences.
A strong team player that inspires and works effectively in cross-functional teams with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Education & Certifications
Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Relevant certifications that demonstrate expertise in cloud platforms, security, or development methodologies are valuable, such as:

Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CISM)

*Note: This role is initially equity-based, reflecting our startup status and funding stage. Upon successful fundraising (targeted within 6 months), this position will transition to include a competitive salary component commensurate with experience and market standards.
