Position Summary:
A
Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stable and efficient operation of an organization's computer networks. This role encompasses installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network hardware and software to guarantee optimal performance and security.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage, and maintain Juniper network infrastructure across all locations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and optimize Mist wireless network solutions, including AP deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Design, implement, and maintain VLAN segmentation to support secure and efficient traffic flow across departments and services.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across wired and wireless environments.
- Perform regular firmware and software updates, patching, and configuration backups for network devices.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date network documentation, including topology diagrams, IP address schemes, and configuration records.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents promptly, including after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and rollouts to support organizational growth and modernization.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Familiarity with Juniper certification tracks such as JNCIA or JNCIS.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including switching, routing, wireless technologies, and network security.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to document and explain complex issues clearly.
- Valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation with ability to travel to company locations
- Strong technical and systems administration knowledge
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates good analytical and problem-solving skills

The working conditions of this position reflect those of a standard office and warehouse environment to include:
- Working in close proximity to others
- Moderate to high noise levels
- May be subject to hot and cold temperatures inside the warehouse depending upon outside weather conditions
Travel:
- Intercompany travel between locations.
- Travel to vendors and IT partners.
