Currently we are currently seeking a Network Administrator to join our team. This role involves installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of networks including associated hardware.

An active Secret Security Clearance, Sec+ certification and a CCNA certification is required. The work location is Washington, DC.

ROLE:

Monitor system networks for messages, alarms, or issues.

Identify issues or problems and resolves as appropriate; escalates when necessary.

Troubleshoot problems using scripts.

Ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.

Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed.

Maintain required security posture on all network equipment in accordance with DoD requirements, including updates, STIGs and IOS upgrades.

Install, configure, and maintain encryption devices.

SKILLS NEEDED

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2+ years of related experience, additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Currently possess a DoD Secret security clearance

Active CompTIA Security + or CCNP Security certification

Active CCNA Certification.

Knowledge of LAN switching, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), VLAN Trunk Protocol (VTP), Port Security, Spanning Tree, and Layer 2 and 3 switching configurations.
