Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a System Administrator located in Cumberland, MD. The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the credit union’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, and providing technical support to staff. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, performing regular software updates, managing backups, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The role also involves implementing and maintaining network security measures, and supporting end-user IT needs.
Qualifications
- Experience with system administration tasks including managing IT infrastructure and performing regular software updates
- Knowledge of network security measures and techniques
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues
- Ability to provide technical support and training to staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site in Cumberland, MD
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
