The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise-class storage, security, network, communication, and virtualization environments. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and vendor-specific certifications.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Provide advanced technical support for server, storage, security, and network infrastructure.
🔹 Diagnose and resolve system issues while proactively communicating with management.
🔹 Administer and secure Office 365, including identity management, SSO, MFA, and conditional access.
🔹 Maintain and optimize hybrid server infrastructure, including VMware, Nutanix, and Azure.
🔹 Develop, document, and implement disaster recovery plans.
🔹 Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
🔹 Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages.
🔹 Administer McAfee EPO Security, Mimecast email security, and DNS records.
🔹 Manage clustered resources, load-balanced Windows RDS environments, and delegated permissions.
🔹 Participate in IT system onboarding, consolidation, and optimization.
🔹 Provide mentorship and leadership to junior IT staff.
🔹 Participate in an on-call rotation for system support.
Qualifications & Experience
✅ Education: College or Vocational Graduate or equivalent experience.
✅ Certifications: Preferred certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or Nutanix.
✅ Experience: Minimum 4+ years in systems administration, hardware/software support, and IT troubleshooting.
✅ Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Unix, and Linux.
- Experience managing virtualized environments (VMware, Nutanix, Azure).
- Proficiency in networking, security, and storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SQL database administration.
- Knowledge of scripting for automation.
