Infosys is seeking Windows Support Administrator. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infrastructure Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience
• Configure and troubleshoot: Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, 2022, and Windows file servers/DFS Namespaces.
• Conduct Windows patching using SCCM and WSUS and troubleshoot windows update issues.
• Analyze Windows events to identify the cause for application/operating system issues.
• Perform: Active directory in the multi-domain and multi-forest environment
• Migrate file servers from older operating systems to newer operating systems.
• Manage large windows Infra in both Physical and Virtual platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Firmware upgrades using management controllers such as: Dell iDRAC, HPE ILO, HPE OneView is nice to have.
• Configuring windows DHCP server scopes/failovers and managing windows DNS servers is a plus.
• Active Directory group policies and expertise to troubleshoot Active Directory replication issues is a perk.
• Microsoft troubleshooting skills and tools: Including OS Hardening and Vulnerability assessment is preferred.
• Windows Certification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation
• Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills
• Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
• Exceptional Organizational Skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
