Role Overview
As CTO for the Technology sector, you’ll serve as the strategic technology leader for GS Lab | GAVS’s ISV/SaaS-focused services business. You will own the tech strategy, lead offering and capability development, and directly engage with client CTOs and product/engineering heads to drive credibility, co-create solutions, and enable growth.
You will work closely with the Chief Business Officer, Client Partners, Delivery, and Marketing to shape a differentiated go-to-market approach.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Revenue Enablement
- Support strategic pursuits by shaping solutions, architectures, and technology narratives.
- Represent GS Lab | GAVS in client meetings as the tech voice of credibility and innovation.
- Co-create technology roadmaps with client CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and Product Leaders.
Offering & IP Development
- Lead the development of repeatable offerings and accelerators in areas like:
- GenAI enablement for SaaS
- Cloud-native modernization
- Platform engineering and DevOps
- Product re-architecture and multi-tenant SaaS transformations
- Create technical assets (frameworks, reference architectures) that differentiate GS Lab | GAVS.
Capability & Org Development
- Guide internal investment in emerging technologies and tools.
- Mentor solution architects and engineering leads.
- Collaborate with Delivery to improve quality, reusability, and scalability of solutions.
Thought Leadership & Market Engagement
- Collaborate with our Tech Evangelist and Marketing teams to drive external visibility.
- Represent GS Lab | GAVS at conferences, industry panels, and client briefings.
- Contribute to blogs, whitepapers, and client advisory content.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 15+ years in technology roles, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience in client-facing tech leadership roles (CTO, VP Engineering, Chief Architect).
- Strong understanding of SaaS product architecture, DevOps, cloud-native, and platform engineering.
- Experience working with or in IT services firms OR as a tech leader in ISV/SaaS companies.
- Prior success in building offerings/IP and influencing sales cycles.
