Expected pay for this position is $34.57 - $40.66/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Systems Administrator II provides exceptional, advanced Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support in configuration, implementation, maintenance, and testing for all systems and storage implemented across the organization, under the general direction of a Level III or Engineer. The Administrator ensures consistent service excellence by providing solution evaluation, technical guidance, and implementation for physical and virtual compute systems plus core storage systems (Tiered Storage, NAS, Virtualization, Backups, etc.) The role is responsible for ensuring maintenance, stability, availability, and reliability of all systems and storage implemented and provides system installation, performance analysis, and capacity planning for all new and existing systems. With guidance from Level III or Engineer, the administrator will also perform configuration changes independently for application integration, system administration, problem management, preventive maintenance, and performance tuning, all within best practice standards. Available to respond to emergency situations outside of normal business hours.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate's Degree
- Experience: 3 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting systems and servers for enterprise-level systems.
- 3 years of Storage Technologies (Tier 1, 2, 3 Storage, Cloud Storage, NAS, SAN, VM, Backup).
- 1 year of experience working with Cisco Technologies (Switches, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, VOIP)
Other Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Server, O365, Windows, AD), Virtualization technologies (VMWare, XenServer, Hyper-V) Backup/Recovery technologies, Disaster Recovery, IBM P series/AIX technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 5 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting systems and servers for enterprise-level systems.
- 5 years of Storage Technologies (Tier 1, 2, 3 Storage, Cloud Storage, NAS, SAN, VM, Backup).
- 2 years of experience working with Cisco Technologies (Switches, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, VOIP).
- Experience with healthcare specific concepts, software, systems, and practices.
- Licensure/Certifications: Active certifications preferred: Microsoft (MCSE, MCITP, MCTS, Azure), Linux, Storage (EMCST, EMCTA, EMCIE), or VMWare (VCP-DCV).
