- Help Desk experience creating, managing, documenting, and completing ticketed work.
- Break/fix troubleshooting.
- User account provisioning and decommissioning.
- End user hardware provisioning and decommissioning.
- Creating and updating documentation.
- Conduct internal monitoring of tools and user requests to proactively create tickets and address issues.
- Strong candidates will have the following skills, or may be considered if they have significant experience in most areas:
- Break/fix troubleshooting.
- Deep Cisco configuration and subnetting.
- Experience administering either:
- large deployments of Linux (e.g. Red Hat) and Windows systems, or
- enterprise network with VPN configuration, routing, switching, subnetting, interface configuration and cabling (copper and fiber up to 100Gbps of various types).
- Conduct internal monitoring and maintenance of security tools for internal and partner use.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as packet brokers, taps, and configuration of SPAN ports.
- Experience managing storage infrastructure / networks (e.g., Pure Storage, SAN, Fibre Channel).
- Creating and updating documentation to include network diagrams.
- Cyber Ark and or Splunk
- DevOps focus using software to automate hardware configuration, deployments, maintenance, and monitoring using Ansible automation tools and scripts (Bash, Python, or Powershell).
Experience and Education
- 5+ years of network or system administration experience.
- CCNA OR CCNP OR CCIE OR expert proven Cisco configuration and implementation including heavy subnetting.
- Help with FISMA compliance technical and administrative to help them meet ATO.
- Bachelor’s Degree requirement:
Degree in an Information Technology related field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Software Engineering).
