Install and support local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Must be very strong in networking experience; Cisco Routing/Switching, Data Communications (circuits and cabling) VPN, Wireless Controllers and AP's, DNS, and DHCP
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking (IPV 4 and IPV 6), familiar with load balancing
Ability to manage high stress situations calmly and effectively
Clear understanding of best practices in the areas of security, and back-up/restoration.
Maintain network servers such as file servers, application servers, database servers, backup appliances, NASs, SANs, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.
Excellent knowledge of Windows Active directory, permissions, group policies.
Implementing and configuring routers and switches including Cisco routers, Cisco switches
Strong background in Microsoft Windows Server 2003-2012 deployment, design, implementation and administration.
Working knowledge with virtualization, specifically Hyper-V
Experience with Exchange 2007 and above, server management and mail troubleshooting
Undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain and monitor network security.
Support network administration-related requests from Help Desk Specialists.
Ensure systems comply with industry standards.
Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
Must be able to travel nationwide about 25%
