Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Specialist to manage and support our organization's technology infrastructure. The IT Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network security, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to provide excellent support to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely resolutions.
Manage system updates, patches, and security configurations.
Provide technical support to employees, both in-person and remotely.
Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist with cybersecurity initiatives to protect company data and systems.
Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions.
Support IT infrastructure, including servers, printers, and cloud-based solutions.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT-related solutions and support.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as an IT Specialist, Technical Support Specialist, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
Experience with networking, firewalls, and security best practices.
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or AWS.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for user support and training.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
