Position: Network Administrator

Education: At least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
The Network Administrator is responsible for managing and executing IT projects, providing advanced technical support for network and computer environments, and coordinating infrastructure work. This role includes troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and performing system maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects from initiation to closure, including planning, product selection, and execution.
- Collaborate with vendors for infrastructure work and support Tier II+ hardware break-fix services.
- Use tools like SCCM, Active Directory, and IPAM to resolve tickets and manage systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues.
- Assist with IT documentation, including network diagrams and system configurations.
- Manage IT Capital Initiatives, including budgeting, purchasing, and approvals.
- Maintain system backups, patch installs, and account maintenance.
- Recommend solutions for system repairs and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure hardware inventory is accurate in the Asset Management System.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, with MCSE, CCNP, CCNA certifications, and 5 years of IT experience.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware/software support.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, physical network components, and Windows OS.
- Familiar with server software/hardware, Internet technologies, and various IT systems.
