The Databricks Architect position in the Aerospace / Aviation / Defense industry is a fully remote role with no specific location mentioned. The primary responsibility of the role is to architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements. The Architect will be involved in creating and reviewing architecture and solution design artifacts, as well as evangelizing re-use through the implementation of shared assets. The Databricks Architect will be responsible for designing an end-to-end unified data platform covering all aspects of the data lifecycle and have extensive knowledge of Spark, Hive, and SQL. They should also be skilled in performance optimization, cost reduction, and creating complex data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, at least 3 years of experience with Databricks, and a strong desire to learn and upskill in the field. The approximate annual base compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000.
