The Data Analytics Architect will be responsible for architecture design and development of data analytics across AWS services. This will include data integration, warehousing, visualization and advanced analytics tasks. In addition to strong technical and project management skills, this position requires excellent customer relationship management.

The Data Analytics Architect responsibilities are:

Engage in detailed and advanced requirements gathering for data analytics projects and statements of work
Create and maintain technical writing and guidelines for data analytics solutions and statements of work
Design relational and analytical database schemas and architectures based on best practices and customer requirements/needs
Lead efforts in administration of data analytics solutions using the OBIEE Administration Tool or OAS Administration Server
Performance tuning OAS and/or OBIEE application at the repository level
Provide enhancements to the repository database (RPD). This includes the physical, BMM and Presentation layer
Design, implement, deploy and maintain the ETL/ELT process and data flow, including data quality and unit testing using various data integration tools.
Architect, design, deploy and maintain enterprise level data warehouses and data marts including various data modeling techniques
Write procedures, functions, packages, views and materialized views when needed
AWS S3 and Amazon Glue data storage and metadata repository configuration
Configuration of Amazon Redshift clusters and development of data models
Write data analysis queries in Amazon Athena and Redshift Spectrum
Design complex reports and dashboards to satisfy business needs using Amazon Quicksight and other data visualization tools

Technical skills and experience required include:

Experience with designing, developing, and supporting database environments in AWS
Strong customer relationship management
Technical writing and documentation experience
Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
Architecture of dimensional modeling for data warehouses
Familiarity with metadata management concepts, change management/version control concepts
Versatile and knowledgeable in SQL programming and report design
Some experience in database administration
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus
Experience with Oracle and other database platforms is a plus
Experience with other BI Tools such as the Microsoft BI tool stack, Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, Cognos, etc. is a plus
Experience with other programming and machine learning languages is a plus
